[MESS]IAH: Week Two
Most of us, we want Jesus to come into our lives and fix the mess, but the truth is when Jesus comes into our life, he brings a whole new kind of mess. He messes up our plans, disrupts the program, interrupts the progress – to fulfill His purpose. And what we find is that God’s purpose is always greater than our plans.
Active in the Mess - Jesus was born into a messy time! Political difficulties with Rome, failing religious leaders, and 400 years of spiritual silence…BUT God chose this time, the perfect time to send the savior into the world. In the midst of messiness and difficulty God still moved and worked for his purpose. And he still does today!
