Next Steps
Everyone has a next step when it comes to growing in their faith; this is why we create clear and simple steps to help people engage in the life and mission of Heritage Church. Every person is at different places in their spiritual walk, so we have created different steps to help you discover how to get connected, grow in your faith, and begin using your gifts and talents to be a part of something special.
Below are some of the best next steps you can take.
Baptism
Baptism is the outward declaration of the inward reality of choosing to follow Jesus. It is a step that takes our Faith public and allows us to celebrate as one family. More than just a ritual or technicality of our faith, Baptism is something that Jesus both participated in and commanded those who choose to follow Him to take part in. It is a symbolic moment that allows us to physically identify with Jesus’ death (going into the water), resurrection (coming out of the water), and victory (celebrating the reality of eternal life alongside our Church family).
Serve
The band is awesome. The teaching is personal, honest and bold. The moments in the worship experience are engaging and real. But what really makes Heritage Church truly great is our volunteers!
Volunteering at Heritage enables you to be a part of something bigger than yourself. It’s time to live out your purpose and serve others by using your God-given gifts. Let’s change the way people think about church!
Groups
At Heritage, everything that we do is in pursuit of the Great Commission. It’s what forms our mission: To help people Find and Follow Jesus. Heritage Groups are a key way we intentionally live out this mission, because we believe real life happens surrounded by community. God never designed us to navigate life alone!
