Baptism Sunday
Baptism is the outward declaration of the inward reality of choosing to follow Jesus. It is a step that takes our Faith public and allows us to celebrate as one family. If you or a loved one are interested in getting baptized, you can click Here to sign up and get more information.
What is Community Sunday?
When we launched Heritage Church in Barrington, we said we would be more than just a building for people to attend. We are committed to being The Church in the community God has placed us.
Community Sundays are a chance for us to get outside the walls of a building to BE the church in our community.
MOVE BEYOND YOUR COMFORT AND LEAN INTO GOD'S MISSION FOR HIS CHURCH AS WE HELP PEOPLE FIND AND FOLLOW JESUS.

How can I make the MOVE, Engage with others, & be the church?
Acts of Kindness
Kindness is great. But, it becomes missional when we help people connect the reason for our kindness to Jesus & His kindness towards us.
Pay for someone else's meal or coffee.
Get a gift card, give it to a random person & encourage them. (Have a great day. A random gift because you matter. Because Jesus loves you)
Leave a large tip and an invite to Heritage Church.
2. Pray
No matter how uncomfortable prayer may feel, remember that God moves mountains & obstacles in our way when we come to Him in prayer.
Take a walk downtown for breakfast or a coffee, and pray for those who live in the homes you pass.
Try this with your server: When they come by with your food and ask if there's anything else you need. Say, "We are about to pray before we eat. Is there anything we can pray for you about?"
Stop by and pray for the local schools, students, staff, and teachers.
Pray for God to open a conversation door to share what Jesus has done in your life. Or an opportunity to invite someone to church.
Ask for God to open your eyes to the needs of others and opportunities to encourage someone. Move towards the discomfort with boldness to put your faith in action.
3. Invite
Everyone wants to be wanted. Get to know others IN THE CHURCH. & invite people OUTSIDE THE CHURCH to experience a place where EVERYONE’S WELCOME, BECAUSE NOBODY’S PERFECT, BUT WITH GOD ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.
Invite someone you don't know from church to join you for breakfast or a coffee and get to know each other's story. Pray for one another.
Use some of the above opportunities to invite someone to Heritage Barrington.
